Experience Quest is a division of Quest Overseas, who has been running projects and expeditions since 1996. We offer extraordinary expeditions into Africa and South America, either on 2 to 3 week pre designed itineraries combining luxury travel with voluntary project work and authentic cultural exchanges; or on tailor made expeditions for school, university or corporate teams.

It was born out of the desire to offer something more authentic and hands on within the ever growing 'volunteer experience’ market, building on Quest Overseas specialist knowledge of these continents and its ongoing commitment to sustainable development within local communitites.

School Expeditions

Our long term commitment to a select number of projects allows our school expedition teams to be part of some truly worthwhile and sustainable work. Furthermore, being specialists only in certain parts of the world, our knowledge and network of key contacts in even the most remote corners of the countries we work in, gives us the ability to develop some real intrepid expedition itineraries.

We have worked with colleges in the UK and the US, and understand the challenges for any school to fit such an adventure into an already packed school schedule.

Whether your school is interested in taking part in just a project, an adventurous expedition or a combination of the two, we will tailor an itinerary to suit your needs, age group and school curriculum, and provide as much or as little support as you require.

Extraordinary Holidays

Experience Quest's Extraordinary Holidays were first conceived when the parents of some of our gap year students were tired of just hearing tales of their children's adventures overseas, and actually wanted a piece of the action themselves, but with that little bit more luxury at the end of the day! We do not offer every trip imaginable into the back and beyond of every country in the world! Instead we have put together a selection of unique itineraries in the areas where we work, taking small groups for 2 or 3 week adventures.

Our teams have the opportunity to visit and contribute to our long term projects overseas, whilst at the same time enjoying some of the most spectacular experiences on the planet. From Galapagos cruises to gorilla tracking in Uganda, these are adventures like no other.

Corporate and Charity Expeditions

Our extensive experience of leading groups, together with our unparalleled experience and network of contacts withing the countries in which we work allows us to create tailor made itineraries which fulfil the needs of each particular group, as well as providing continued support to our projects.

Quest has formed partnerships with the CSR divisions of Royal Bank of Scotland and Scott Wilson, where teams of staff from these companies have gone to our projects to build clinics, school buildings and work on social development projects.

We have also been approached by groups of professionals to put together training programmes, including a team of architects from the University of Edinburgh which travelled to Tanzania to help in the design of an accommodation block for a vocational training school, as part of their elective training.
